Grid Credits are the universal currency of The Grid. Everything you buy, sell, rent, or earn is denominated in credits.
Getting Credits
Buy with Real Money
Purchase credit packs through the in-game store or web dashboard. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Earn Through Gameplay
You don't have to spend money to play. Credits can be earned:

Marketplace Economy
The marketplace lets players buy and sell custom assets:
- Sellers list assets and set their price in credits
- Buyers pay credits and receive the asset in their library
- Commission: the platform takes a minimum of 15% of every sale
- Minimum price: 10 credits per listing
Supporting the Platform
Creators can opt into a higher platform share — giving more of each sale to the platform — as a voluntary way to support ongoing development and keep the game running. The default split is always 85% creator / 15% platform, but you can choose to give 20%, 30%, or even 50% to the platform. Creators who do this earn a supporter badge on their profile and listings.
Selling Your Creations
If you've made a great texture, model, or script, you can publish it to the marketplace and earn credits every time someone buys it. Popular creators can earn significant credits just from marketplace sales.
Transaction History
Every credit movement is logged. View your full transaction history from the dashboard or in-game overlay:
- Purchases (Stripe → Credits)
- Zone purchases
- Marketplace buys and sells
- Rent payments and income
- Gameplay rewards
- Refunds
Important Notes
- Credits are one-way — you can convert USD to credits, but not credits back to USD
- Maximum balance: 1,000,000 credits
- All transactions are final (refunds handled through support)
- Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details
